SUMMARY:Letter Writing Workshop - free sanitary products in schools
DESCRIPTION:Raised By Feminists are teaming up with Every Month Manchester to host a letter writing work shop. \nWe are asking you to put pen to paper to lobby Manchester City Council to fund a scheme like the one Scotland are now piloting\, where sanitary products are provided for free in schools\, walk-in centres and sexual health clinics. \nEvery Month Manchester will do a short presentation and be there to assist. Once the letters have been gathered they will present them to the council as part of their campaign. \nThis will be a drop in session so if you miss the presentation\, don’t worry\, we can fill you in. We will provide paper\, pens and a template so just bring your creativity! \nKids are most welcome and we will have some snacks and activities to keep them occupied (adults may also participate in snacking). \nWe’d love to get as many people as possible involved to tell all your friends and we will see you there! \nCheck out the awesome work Ever Month Manchester do here:\nhttp://everymonthcampaign.org/ \n
